AT A GLANCE
- AI-assisted implementation with human review
- Native content and service pages without a WordPress runtime
- Connected inquiries, consent controls and search foundations
Make the direction tangible.
DeCort’s new website needed to communicate both established development experience and a growing applied-AI practice. The brief extended beyond a visual refresh: bring the brand, services and editorial content into a modern experience with the business workflows required to operate it.
Use AI in the work.
The site was developed through an AI-assisted build and revision process, with human direction over branding, content and publication. The implementation uses a React-based application and native content files rather than a WordPress backend. That choice suits this site’s current publishing model; it is not a claim that every business should leave its CMS.
Carry the business details through.
Inquiry forms connect to Resend and route to help@decort.net, where the existing Freshdesk workflow creates a support ticket. The implementation includes source context in the inquiry so the team can understand where it originated. The delivery path was tested during the build.
Treat discovery and privacy as product work.
The platform includes page-specific metadata, canonical URLs, a sitemap and structured data that reflects the visible content. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are connected through consent controls, with optional analytics held until the visitor chooses. Search foundations and visitor privacy choices are part of the site’s ongoing operation.
Build a system that can keep changing.
The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, with versioned source, saved deployments and a custom domain. Responsive imagery, accessible navigation and native editorial content support continued development. The project demonstrates how an AI-assisted workflow can produce a working business website while retaining clear ownership of the decisions and the source.
Show the tradeoffs honestly.
The current architecture makes revisions through the source and deployment workflow rather than a WordPress editor. That changes the content operating model. For a business with different publishing, commerce or governance requirements, WordPress, a hybrid approach or another CMS could be the stronger choice.
